Supanova 2014: Harley Quinn

It's that time of year again! Supanova Sydney has come and gone, This year me and my cosplay partner in crime put our own little twist on some DC favourites. Our masquerade Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy were a big hit and we all know that you can never have a bad day in a ball gown.

Our costumes were a combination of items we purchased and skirts which were made by our totally awesome Mum, For the 3rd year in a row I complained about wearing gloves and my sister lost her wig virginity.  Fun was had by all and I felt oh so pretty!

My favourite photo of the day!

Close up of our make up.

A very amazing Belle outfit!

The Joker :)

Dead Jeoffery. the faces say it all

BANEEEEEE!

Our buddy Thomas in his amazing Kuzco Cosplay

Another fabulous Harley and Ivy combo

The best Elsa and Ana cosplay of the day!
Ugh! Cannot wait for next year! We were brain storming new costume ideas before we even arrived at the convention! Other amazing things that happened included me meeting Ming-Na Wenn (voice of Mulan!) and seeing John Barrowman in the flesh and having many a photos taken in my glorious outfit.

Until next time! x.

Pastel Locks

Hey guys!

Last week I showed you my new bleached hair style, the idea behind it was that once I was bored of being a blonde bombshell i'd go back to having crazy pastel hair. So heres some inspiration for future pastel hair! keep an eye out at the bottom for products to try/buy if you too want to be a pastel babe!

When I use to dye my hair I used Fudge's Paintbox!

Not ready to bleach the crap out of your yet? Why not try wigs or extensions! I've got a bunch on my wish list at Lockshop wigs like these!

Nail Art Tutorial: Skittle nails

Hey guys! Today I took full advantage of Priceline's 40% off cosmetics sale by grabbing a whole bunch of fabulous nail polishes! To celebrate I thought i'd do a nail tutorial for Skittle nails, the easiest nail tutorial ever!

YOU WILL NEED:
Nail polish remover (If needed)
5 Rainbow coloured nail polishes
1 White nail art pen (And a steady hand or helpful friend!)

My Favourite nail products! This Nailene nail polish remover pot is a life saver! It's full of acetone and pink bristles. You literally put you finger in, let it soak for a second and then scrub your nail on the bristles. Getting rid of mass amounts of polish has never been easier!

I also use Sally Hansen's Insta Dry, to quicken the drying process (Also great for nail art when you use too much nail polish but need it to dry for the next step) and Sally Hansen Miracle nail hardener as a base coat since I have thin nails.

Before i removed my nail polish with Nailene
After i removed my nail polish with Nailene
Next are my colours! I used Essence nail colours, they're super bright and super cheap and decent quality. The nail pen is from Sportsgirl

Next I painted each nail a different colour (2 coats depending on colour and and constancy of the polish) I also had to change blues and ended up using a BYS cracking polish (hence why it looks so horrid!)
Next I drew on some S's with nail pen
Finish with a top coat and you're done!

I'd love to see your Skittle nails! feel free to link me in the comments below.

Until next time x.
