Working Girl

The new year is a time for change and what better way to welcome yourself back to the work place then a brand spanking new wardrobe?! So this year ditch the boring monochrome working girl uniform and inject some life into the office with bright colours, bold prints and funky shapes.

Get to the point:

Asymmetrical shapes are all the rage this season, the sharp points and interesting lines are great for giving some edge to an other wise simple garment. Pair it with a bold colour top like this green collared top from August Street and colleagues will be clearing the hallways to escape your fierceness.

Big, Bold and Beautiful:

Nothing is quite as attention grabbing as a beautifully bold print, but don’t think that you have to keep it restricted to your top half, match an amazing printed skirt with a blazer in a complimenting colour, and you will be wowing the office with your masterpiece style.

Playful Pastels:

Summer vacations might be coming to an end, but don't let that ruin your mood. Bring some summer lovin’ into your work wardrobe with beautiful pastels and summery colours. don’t be afraid to accessorise with some too-cute jewellery like we did with this daisy and leaf print necklace and  bring the outdoors into your office.

Pretty in Pink:

Bright fuchsia may be a daunting colour when it comes to acing it in the board room but it’s definitely a colour that packs some punch. If you’re too weary wearing top to toe loud colours, try introducing some pretty pink in the form of a nice blazer. Still to worried you’ll scare your work mates with such a fun colour? pair it with a comfy tee on casual friday, like we have with our Fashion institute girls, and ease everyone into this rad colour.
